The Marvel Super Heroes meet to begin principal photography of the film whose premiere is scheduled for 4 May 2012 in the United States and from the same month in Latin America
Mexico City, April 28, 2011 .- The production of THE AVENGERS, the highly anticipated film from Marvel, has officially begun in Albuquerque, New Mexico and the realization of its principal photography will continue in Cleveland, Ohio, and New York. Directed by Joss Whedon (Serenity) and based on a screenplay of his own, THE AVENGERS, is the first feature of this series to be fully marketed and distributed by Disney, after the acquisition of Marvel in 2009. The premiere of the film in the United States is planned for May 4, 2012.
